DD40 day and date reversing

Today I was setting my DD40 and I went past midnight and the day and date clicked over. I went backwards to set the time because it was afternoon when I got around 4 or 5 pm, the day and date clicked back to the previous day. Is this normal for this movement? Everything seems normal, but I was not expecting that to happen.
