A Trip of a Lifetime Deserves a Watch to Remind Me!

I cannot thank Danny Govberg and George Mayor enough for submitting my name for this 5976 1G Anniversary Patek Philippe and getting the job done quickly. Everytime I wear it I will remember the trip of a lifetime and those who I met.

Congrats Dave! And thanks again for sharing the pics of your trip. Do you still have the 5980R? It would be a very cool duo of Nautili (Hope that is the plural form LOL)

I hope to always have my 5980 1R. I really like the entire Nautilus line.

Congrats, that's an awesome combination. It doesn't look that much bigger than the 5980 (but that could be because the 5980 is closer) - could you post a side by side photo please?

Yes, looks not that much bigger but a flat pic would help.

Many congrats Dave, I know you loved the TTs blue dial so not surprised you got this, enjoy it in the sun!

The 5976 is larger and here is the best flat picture I can take with my cell phone. The embossing I very hard to notice unless the light hits the dial in certain angles. In lower light it is not noticeable.

Two beautiful watches. I really like the size of the 5976, I find the dial of the 5980 to look a little small in comparison to the rest of the watch so the proportions of the 5976 really work well for me.

Thanks Dave, I'd say the 5976 is the perfect size, it certainly looks fantastic on you.

Looks like the WG wears like a 43/44 so should be great for many. I esp like the WG's Patek lettering and date font.
