Incoming Aquanaut!

i traded in my 5167 for the 5164, as I figured it would come in handy while travelling. Its nearly as comfortable, and i like not having the date at 3.

Thanks! I do like the dial layout much better, i like the improved symmetry, as well as the touch of blue in the day / night indicators

By my calculation you struck a very nice deal for yourself. Especially if the travel time is new!

Man, it really is such a visually appealing watch, even better when the second time zone is activated. I got to try one on in Las Vegas last month, and kept telling (fooling) myself the extra thickness was a deal breaker (ha!).

Enjoy your watch and be sure to reread this gem (complete with amazing pictures): https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/ph...eference-5164a
