Older Aquanauts

How are older Aquanauts (5060, 5065, 5066) faring in this current pricing climate for PP stainless steel sports watches?

To me, they remain as ugly as ever.

Imho undervalued and will eventually head up up up. Could take some time though.

I just bought a 5066 and I like it a lot. But I also wear an OP 34, so what do I know?

I expect the older models with automatic movements will continue to go up, albeit slowly. I don't expect the ones with the quartz movement will do as well.

I like the 5167, but I'm pretty short with small wrists and the smaller size of the older aquanauts kind of appeals to me. I actually hope the era of large watches is ending or at least moderating.

See if you can find a 5165a. Shares the updated look of the 5167 but in a noticeably smaller 38mm case. Not easy to find but some are out there. I traded mine to fund another piece last autumn. Wish I hadn’t.

Wife had the 5066 and it was nice for a lady imho.

BTW, a brief PSA here as the early 5167 had a DIFFERENT bracelet/strap lug connection, so if you buy an old / early Patek Aqua then getting a bracelet for the strap version could be a bit more difficult. Forget exactly why, yet at some serial number Patek changed things. Anyone know the SN# change and reason?
