Old Tudor movements pre-ETA

Sorry if this has been tackled already but I did a search and no luck. I wanted to know if it is worth the hassle to get the movements serviced compared to just sourcing a compatible ETA movement. I am referring to the Cal 390/395 with the butterfly rotor. One of the watch with a 390 is running a minute behind per day and the 395, the rotor came off. It still runs but low power reserve and of course manual wind only.

Thank you in advance

I'd service the movements, there's a few jewelers who will do it for $100-200/watch so I'm sure it's around the same price as a movement swap

Depends. Depends on how much you want the watch and how much you are willing to spend in excess of the value of the watch.

Some of the parts (particularly the rotor /auto parts) are simply not available. A couple I have talked to won't take one unless there is a good donor movement with it.

I am told some hands are swappable between early Tudor Etas and Tudor FEF 390s.

Thanks for the replies. I am deciding if it is worth the money to fix them up. if it will be more than 300 to service/fix each, might as well just sell them. I read some where that they are rare movements? pretty sure that's a big lie. Although it seems cool that they were based on the rolex 1030 movement, is that accurate? or another internet hoax/hype up?
