case refinishing

there was a thread just down the list from yours: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=245211

just search refinishing in the search tool. if these methods don't look heavy duty enough for your "dent" talk to a watchmaker/jeweler in your area.

Its a battle scar, no sense in polishing the watch every time there
is a little ding or scratch... If you do it will lose its lines in no time.

Wear it and enjoy it.
Rolex is meant to be worn, used and abused and still look great
later in the night when you throw on a tux.

Last time I had a Rolex given a full service I made sure they did not polish
it

Are you all blind? I would definetly bring it in to an AD, this is NOT a "do it yourself" job. I think dents in such a perfectly manufactored watch is a shame. It will probably always be noticeable, but an AD should be able to "tone it down" a bit. I could not live with it, but hey that's just me.

That's the whole reason for the crown guards; to protect the crown.

I know what you mean. Before I had my GMT serviced, I wore it like it was a Casio. It went where I went. Once it got serviced it looked brand new. I checked with the RSC about polishing between services and they do not recommend it. The lady said it would take off too much metal if you did it between services and at services.

I serious because local watchmaker in Thailand said "It very hard to polishing it because a ding is on a crown guard"
For this reason I'm not sure the RSC can do this to look like new for me.
Now, I take a new photo for everyone.

I crop from earlier pic.

Just as soon as you have it polished, there will be another one. It's a tiny scratch. Forget about it.

I've got a few dents on my Rolex which infuriated me as my previous pre 2006 models never seemed to suffer any dents but with the polished edges they scratch easily. But at the end of the day I bought my watch to wear day in and day out and it still has no where near the amount of scratched and dents that I had on my Omega Sea Master
