Yes, my Submariner Date, and SS white dial 36mm Roman dial are my classic favorite Rolex watches. I love the simplicity of both.

Without lug holes, a watch isn’t a classic to me. But I’m “dating” myself

That’s a great Pic of your classic Sub.

Gotta have lug holes for a vintage Rolex

Hmm, 'Classic', such an emotive term, isn't it.
My old, sunny Sunday morning car, doesn't have a starting handle, dangling under the radiator, but I still consider it, a classic.
Lug holes, to me, are about as 'aesthetic' as propellers on large air liners.
As 'lovely' as they are to some, they've mostly been superseded.
Anyway, 'Classicity' is just a matter of time, isn't it?

Ps.Beautiful shot of the Submariner!
It's a classic!

Every Sub is a classic, I think.

One of the most beautiful watch designs there is.

Nice one!. Sooner or later they'll all be classics, lug holes or not...
