Arleen is going to New York today to help babysit our granddaughter while the nanny is off with her children and grandchildren. She'll be there all week. I'm driving up on Friday and we'll spend an early Father's Day in Westport, CT at my brother's home with his family, our kids and granddaughter and my daughter-in-law's parents. Sunday, we'll have brunch at the kids' apartment and then spend the rest of the day with them. We'll come home Monday. Should be a good weekend.

My father thinks it's a load of nonsense. My sisters make a big deal out of it for some reason and usually rope me & my brother in too. My father, brother and myself usually slope down the pub and let the womenfolk get on with lunch and children
