Hi folks I want to get a new Omega strap for this watch. Can someone let me know what I am looking for and where to look?
Thanks All! Mike |

Nice dynamic, do you want a nos Omega strap? You could find a similar Hirsch or something and just switch out the buckle. An Omega strap would cost more money.

Hi Mike,
The Omega Vintage Watch Information site (register free to use the site) shows the case number for your Omega Dynamic III, as 166.0310, photo from the site below (all the leather straps shown on this site for the Dynamic III models with leather straps, show a brown strap) Otto Frei in the USA has a brown 19mm strap which looks similar to the one in the photo, the part number is: OME-97672073. From ofrei's description "I do not know what to call this color, light brown is the best I can do. The material has a nap like that of suede.". When I searched Cousins UK for Dynamic 19mm straps, black is not one of the colours shown. The brown strap shown, is the same as the one on ofrei.com. Brian

Probably doesn't help much, but I recently asked my AD about a 20mm PO strap (croc) for my SMP and it was $800 strap only or $1250 with deployant (AUD). Yours is probably cheaper, but suffice to say, Omega has some markup.

The strap OME-97672073 from ofrei.com costs $118.12 shipped (this is with the Non California Resident Tax box selected).

Biggest problem is that Frei's are unable to export genuine Alligator (exotic skins etc.) I think has to do with some international sanction/law or whatever. From memory it has it on all the listings with skins that they are unable to export. Cheers BTW. Those prices for the strap and/or deployment are ludicrous. Frei's are even cheaper, I would get some more prices.
