Icon5 Which MB Rollerball?

Unfortunately, the fountains are not getting any use, due to a change in my work mode.

I have been thinking about the John Lennon SE, since its vert different to the LE fountain I already have, but I can't help thinking it would be a shame not to explore another edition.

Any thoughts on something that is currently available in boutiques?

Thanks!

The Lennon is def cool and so is the Mark Twain. If you want something a little more "traditional" any of the Meisterstucks will do.

I just picked up the John Lenon SE FP, but for the RB I like the Meisterstuck Legrand.

Not going to name names, but I went into my local MB boutique this morning.

Could you believe the only LE rollerball they could offer me was a Mann!!!!!

Unfortunately, my least favourite, so no sale

I am probably the only person in the world who never liked John Lennon.

Any traditional MB Rollerball would serve you well as any of the Pelikans.

I would say go with the Starwalker line. The extra weight makes it feel a lot better then the Meisterstuck Legrand.

I just purchased the Legrande rollerball in platinum (162P) and love it. I was previously using the classique but much prefer the wider pen.

Thanks for all the suggestions - much appreciated.

I must of been having a sensible day, as I went for a Black Resin Starwalker.

It will be my first MB, that actually looks like a MB.

How very curious

Update...

Got the chance to pick up a Lennon SE rollerball, which was nice, as most places are sold out.

Also, couldn't resist what IMO must be one of the best looking ballpoints, an Ingrid Bergman. The design flows so beautifully, so much better than the fountain and roller, which seem a little broken when open.

This is actually an interesting design issue for the edition pens!

I think it is late already but still ... I love the Starwalker Mystery. It has a really nice heft to it and an interesting design. The Cool Blue is very nice as well (of course those are on a different league from the above SEs.).

A few months I made my first luxury pen purchase and picked up the MB rollerball starwalker black mystery. I take it every day to the office. Thinking about a BP next. Highly recommend.
