Was is Whole Foods tonight and a guy noticed my TAG Carrera. Told me it looks similar to his Watch. He had a SS Daytona white face. But it was the way he said it. Kinda like I was a peasant. Then he just walked away. Thank god for my wife reminding me we were in a grocery store. I had a lot to say. I mean seriously, what’s wrong with it??

They’re just watches, perhaps he was being nice or perhaps he needed you to know he had a Daytona. Either way I’m glad nobody got hurt over this situation....

I once had someone with a Rolex (in Peet’s coffee) telling me my Seiko looked like it wanted to be a Rolex after he asked if it was a Rolex. I was wearing a 777 on a Miltat oyster. I had to bite my tongue real hard. I told him, “if only one day I could own a Rolex. Oh wait I own 4 but chose my Seiko today because I love watches not images” and walked away. What a douche. Maybe he saw that you're happily married and got jealous.
