No, that looks too good to be limited to the Swiss Army. They need to open that one up!

Wish they would make a 39mm model with a tapered bracelet.

If limited, Omega will issue a version to the general public as they are in the business to sell watches.

Yes but I noted somewhere else also. Omega are becoming more restraint. More announcements and no watches.

Where is the Nekton?

Also speedmasters are discontinued. We dont have an official announcement on that and of the launch of the 3861.

anyone care to wager a guess as to what this reference would cost? do we think its going to be a premium on top of the curent msrp on the seamaster pro?..I dont think it would come in any lower. Last i checked, that would be 5200 USD

The Nekton is $6150 on a bracelet. If they offered this one as a special edition, I think it would be about the same. I'd be okay with that.

Shower thoughts: Give it a special caseback for the military and engrave the Swiss cross into the clasp. Let the rest of us have it with the standard Seamaster display back and clasp.

Web Error

Sorry guys. Stopped by our local boutique today. They showed me a recent email reply from their product management who had stated that this short-lived reference posting was a mistake. I had been ready to pull the trigger. Will now wait to see the new Speedy Pro in late Q1.

I refuse to believe you and will not let your cruel statement get my hopes down.

Even if the watch was only in production for the Swiss Army, it would most likely still be easier to get a hold of than say a stainless Daytona.

They are going to make 50 pcs. Do you still feel that way? Rolex makes thousands of Daytonas every year. They just aren't for you and me. Look at C24

Daytona's are easy to get if you're willing to pay up. Either on the grey market or play the AD games. Either way if you wanted one tomorrow you can get one.

Some users have called OB on OF and have confirmed this with them. That's the only source I have. Just like this hardcare base for Rolex partisans, OF is for Omega partisans and an ultimate resource for them.

The watch has been removed from any listing that was available earlier. Now you don't see an image of it either.

Can confirm.

I seem to be having a senior moment and cannot find this reference anywhere on the Omega US website...for those who have confirmed they can see it on the Omega US website, can you please post a link of this reference from the Omega US website?

This looks photoshopped to me. The writing on the dial looks pixelated compared to the rest of the photo (different resolution because it was cut and pasted, and pasted too low). Also, the dial is missing the Zr02 inscription.

Would need to see this one first hand.
This would be spectacular in a matte green....
