Yet another link thread

Okay.. I had my AD order me 1 extra link for my new TT Sub but I'm thinking I maybe should have ordered 2. My wrist is almost 8" around and I can almost close the clasp with the adj. all the way out but it would be tight to say the least. I'm not so much worried about the cost as I am the length of time it takes to get one.

Thanks!

I don't know where you live but if you're located in one of the warm/humid parts of the U.S. do you notice swelling of your wrists during hot weather? If so, I'd have an extra link put in so I could utililze the adjustment feature when needed to make myself comfortable.

Enjoy!

Yes definitely! In the air conditioning my wrist is probably about 7.75" while outside it's probably more like 8.25". I figured someone here might have a link to an Oyster bracelet sizing chart.

Kind of maddening that it takes so long to get a silly link from the AD though.

Thanks!

Cost is $90.00 and the AD's cost is $45.00. My Buddy just orrdered the same watch i just Got. YM TT MOP and his wrist is bigger than mine. he said because he is my referal he would wave the $90.00 for a link but my buddy wanted two links so he said he would give him two for cost at 45 each.

Thanks for the info. Lou and nice watch! I'll probably just order another to be safe - I've yet to wear the watch.

I have had to order extra links for both of my Submariners, including a TT. I thought they were more expensive than that. You gotta do it, nothing worse than a watch that doesn't fit and is too tight. Never measured my wrist so I don't know what size it is.

Thanks. Yeah more $$ is what I'm looking at too. My local AD must have thought I walked through the door backwards as they wanted a good bit more than $90 for the TT links (I didn't buy the watch there though so I saved $$$).

Since the "wrist size poll thread" seem to bear out that 7.5" wrists or less are the norm - I guess I can't gripe to much about the watch coming up short!
