Fantastic results so far.

A good friend of mine had a similar surgery a few years ago and she said the pain and frustration was 1000% worth it.

I just took the 'after' pic on the left with a still swollen face. The unflattering 'before' pic on the right was taken very early morning prior to surgery.

Glad this worked out well for you! The results look great!

My brother had a similar surgery and came out of anesthesia too quickly, freaked out and tore out his breathing tube. It ripped out all the anchors and his jaw collapsed. He was in a drug induced coma for over a week until the swelling went down. The bottom jaw ended up having lack of circulation and parts died. He's had multiple, reconstructive surgeries, gum graphs, cadaver bone, implants, etc over the last 3 years and it's still not right. He should have used your doc.

Looks like they did a good job. You may have to change your avatar to a picture of your smile now

As having a jaw problem that I did not fix, I admire your courage. Hope you recover well. FYI, you look 30, not 50.

Glad to hear yours went well.

Friend of mine had jaw surgery a few years ago, was wired shut for 6 weeks.

It's amazing how creative he got with a blender. Was a bit gross when I watched him puree Chinese food, but he said he needed the taste.
