Gold Sub Repair Job

I found this image on a classified for a gold sub. It looks like there were some repair work around the spring bars. Either the work was done poorly or this was the best that could be done. I have learned that you cannot use stainless steel spring bars on gold otherwise - boring out of the lugs will happen.

Don't know that it's repair work. Looks like the marks from taking the band off and putting it back on without taping up the lugs. My steel watch has the same marks just a lot less severe because the metal isn't as soft. Only one that looks like it may have some work done is the 1 o'clock lug.

It looks like a case without lug holes an wrong spring bars for that, maybe someone had to dig out the spring bar to get the bracelet off?

Just careless handling fitting the springbars. These scratches occur easily and can be removed just as easy with a fiber scratch pen
