Back from AD - My DJ II Report!

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! My quarrel with the original DJ was that is just felt to small on my wrist and the 41mm DJ II solves that problem nicely!!

There are more dial options than shown on the website as well. They had 3 roman numeral options (all awesome!!), the rhodium dial with blue Arabic's (My top choice!!) and a few different variations of the "stick marker" dials.. Needless to say, there were plenty in stock!

Now for the price. Keep in mind I am in Toronto (I went to Royal De Versaille) so these prices are Canadian. The SS/WG bezel silver rhodium dial was tagged at $8750.00. I didn't check the others but I believe I saw $10,000.00 for all the TT models.

I asked the AD a few questions expecting certain answers but was surprised with both responses. There is NO waiting list what so ever for these models, not only did they have them in stock but she said they can get them as quickly as any other DJ model etc..

AND there is "wiggle" room on the price. For a new watch I was expecting her to say "MSRP Is the best we can do" but she ensured me that the price she will give me is much lower then the tag! Great news!

Sorry no pictures and no I didn't buy today but man it pushed me a lot closer. Just wanted to share this info with you guys, hope you find it useful!

Yea I've been discussing that with my future fiance.. I'm just going to get a basic wedding band, nothing special and spend the real $$ on that watch!!

She's all for it so it's just a matter of time.. Man that watch felt perfect!!

% of discount will vary by AD, your relationship with the AD, country, location and demand in your area.

If you are in a big city and you have never shopped there before you may not be able to get a discount easily.

Right now my AD will not discount them at all for most established clients let alone someone who just walked in the door.

My AD got 8 in last week, they still have 1! They have a few more coming in this week.

She didn't mention the specific discount BUT I didn't even have to ask for one either. I imagine I could get 10-12% at least if I showed up with cash.

There is definitely no shortage of these watches. I believe I said earlier, she assured me that she could get one brought in very quickly should it not be in stock when I go to purchase!
