Bezel will not move
Hi!
I got a vintage rolex 1575 gmt. I was wondering if this bezel should be able to move or not. Would Appreciate it. |

Yes, push down on the bezel some, and then turn it in either direction. Sometimes debris will accumulate under the bezel, making it difficult to turn. If so, it's a very easy fix to remove the bezel and clean it up. Just search the forum for a link on how to remove the bezel. I usually use the edge of a credit card to remove mine, rather than a knife blade that I've seen my watchmaker use.
Congrats on the GMT. It's such an iconic watch that is comfortable to wear. |

Georg,
The 1675 uses a friction fit bezel. You have to push down slightly then turn. They can get gunked up after a while (pizza and beer are usually the problem for me). If you're sure the watch has been water checked a bit of warm water will help. If not try a soft toothbrush and be gentle. |
