Rolex 116506 question

I see one on Amazon that's quite a bit cheaper than others I see online.
Its Sold by someone else, but fulfilled by amazon. Priced at 40K.

BUT it has blue sub dials, not the brown ones I see in the pics I can find of this model. Am I missing something?

Someone want to give me a long term loan? lol.

Can I post a link to it?

Someone either scored a deal, or they figured out it was a mispriced item....

So much for that loan. lol.

If it has blue subdials then it should have baguette cut diamond markers. Curious to see a photo since the price is low for that model.

There is no such 116506 on Amazon at that price. The seller - at that price - may have a WG Daytona with an aftermarket dial on it.

I believe the platinum Daytona with baguette hour markers lists for around 90k. There is no way to score that at 40k legitimately. Even the regular 116506 selling at 40k is likely a thing of the past. All PM pricing has inched up in the last year.

It was this one. 116506IBLDO

Either Amazon or the seller made a big mistake.

It was posted on the site fulfilled by amazon, so really there was no risk.

I just didn't have that kind of credit limit to have bought it. :(

Long gone.....

That doesn't look legit, from what I can see of the photo.

And, you know what they say, if it's too good to be true...

Thats the baguette dial but the price is way off. $40k is less than dealer cost on that model.

It would have been an interesting purchase had it been available. Not sure I'd want to deal with the headache if it turned out to be a bust. Amazon has been known to receive and sell fake goods since they don't have the resources to verify everything they sell. This was either a massive mistake or a fake watch. Hard to say.

Someone priced it wrong. It's no longer on the site. There is one priced for about $78K however. That would seem like a reasonable price for one.

Yeah, I figured as much.
I was just hoping someone on here would be able to snag it quickly.

Or it sold quick to someone else. I just didn't have the recourses to snag it.
Would have been a nice piece to make a few dollars on and still net someone else a deal on.

It says that it is normally $81k sold by starks shop which looks like they sell razor blades and the like, so they know how much it’s worth

Also in the description it says it has a bidirectional bezel, so it must be the latest version...

Who here is going to buy it?

I'd be the guinney pig and gamble on it if I had a cc high enough to swing it.

Being that its fulfilled by amazon, I'm willing to bet they have at least the basics right. and since they are in possession of it until it ships; I cant see them screwing someone.

And if its not right, send it back or dispute it with your CC.

It was purchased once before and returned. Hopes aren't too high on this one but it's worth a try!

I'd have RSC run the serial number right away.
