I'd try some in a heart beat. I mean seriously if Scotts can eat haggis I can certainly manage authentic mince meat. Another tradition which seems lost here in the US is flaming Christmas pudding with hard sauce!!! I'll have to see if I can manage that this Christmas.

I agree!!! The two staples for Christmas time for me are that and mince meat pie (now called mince due to the sound of mince meat turning people off).
