When my eye get worse I will trade my Platinum Daytona for the Smurf, which is easier to read. I love silver tones and blue. Go with what you love.

Well, I have no use for a Sub, don't care for the monochromatic treatment in any context, and have already voted with my wallet for the BLRO. That said, you should get the one that you like best; others' opinions are irrelevant.

Definitely the smurf, I love the magical blue on WG, I have tried the BLRO numerous times and ita a watch I want to love, but just can't. .....sort of like the girl you know is good for you but just can't seem to fall in true love. Good luck!

I own the white Gold Panda Daytona and the white gold GMT (as pictured above), but I do not have any interest in the white gold Submariner, it seems to me to be a dull uninteresting blue. I’d rather it had the blue as in the new White Gold Daytona.

I had a similar dilemma recently. I already have a steel sub and decided to go opposite of what I already have. I have a BLRO coming this week so that’s my vote.

Oh I will smurf that all day any day. You can’t get a similar one in SS whereas with the Pepsi those were available in SS. The Smurf is definitely more exclusive.

Took me just two seconds for my choice when I tried both on at AD. Smurf was winner. BLRO was too busy for me.

I really like Subs...but; the Smurf is one that just doesn't sing to me with that shade of blue.

So BLRO GMT is my choice.

GMT.

Would be concerned that the blue on the Sub will get old. Just not into it tbh.

Go with your gut.
I chose the BLRO and didn't even consider the Sub at the time.

This is not a VS Question!!

It is only "which do I buy first...? Question"

Any other questions...?

Locutus...I currently have the Smurf, and to help you out before your eye goes, I will make the straight trade as hard as it is for me to do...

GMT compliments that 2 watch collection you have to a T!
BUT....if you are drooling over and smitten with Smurf after trying both on....Smurf is the winner. Good Luck with your decision and post pics when you pull the trigger.

Guys thanks for all the comments and opinions. I understand its about what I personally prefer but it helps to post here before making what is a huge luxury purchase for me and help me relax that I’m not crazy and its normal to love rolex watches !

Sorry I didn’t respond sooner but kids keep you busy at this time of year.

I’m going with the smurf figuring one day in the future I will be lucky enough to make a move for a GMT ! I just put the order in with my AD , and of course I’m like a kid , can’t wait ! Will post pic’s when this baby arrives , cheers

Very good point btw , only reason I originally bought the sub C over the BLNR or GMTc was i wanted full brushed ss oyster for variety as i had seen how the polished links were magnets for scratches on my daytona.

But now i tell myself i can accept the character that the scratches give!

Love it. Thanks again for your opinions
