Where to find...
I will spend some days in London and Paris. Which in your opinion is the best shop in each city carrying a good variety of vintage and modern but discontinued Patek Philippe watches (such as 5110, for example)? l have been to Burlington Arcade a few times and while there are many vintage Rolexes, I don’t remember seeing many Patek Philippe watches. Appreciate any recommendations.

There are far fewer Pateks to be seen than Rolex. I agree with Neil on watchclub - they occasionally have some very nice Pateks - a 5070g about 2 weeks ago. David Duggan in Burlington arcade is good. Also have a look in Watchfinder in the Royal Exchange.

David Duggan at the Burlington Arcade is a good place to look for Patek watches. There are two gentlemen who are very knowledgeable as they used to work at the Patek AD before the Patek London Salon opened. The last time I visited, there was a new lady who was not very friendly at all. I would try to avoid her, although I can't imagine she would last very long there.
Watch Centre further up Bond Street also has a good inventory of Patek watches. In Paris, there are a couple of stores that carries some nice leather straps for Patek watches - Camille Fournet and ABP. They are both located within minutes from Place Vendome, where the Patek Salon is located. |
