MSRP increases over the year.
Anyone know what MSRP price has gone up the most in the last 15-20 years?

If you look at the evolution of the yellow gold Sub from the time it was first made until the current price of 34,250USD, I believe that one takes the first place ribbon.

It's curious that a stainless GMT master in 1973 was $343, or $2,042.55 in today's dollars. In 1996, a GMT Master was $3300, or $5114.89, in today's money.
In 2017, $8,950. Is it me, or were these a bit more "affordable" decades ago? |

It's not just you.

In 1960, a GMT or Explorer cost $250.
That's about $2100 in today's money. The luxurification of Rolex has happened in the past couple of decades as Rolex transitioned from really nice tool watches to jewelry. |

Wow... yeah I have a vintage air king that was apparently a bit of an everyman's watch when it was made. Today's air king would be considered pretty high end for most non-watch people at ~5k
