The hodinkee blog was updated with the note below. So maybe this watch isn't for real...fingers crossed!
"Editor's Note: It should be stated that this information did not come from Omega directly, but from a UK-based authorized dealer called Banks Lyon. Since publishing this post, Banks Lyon has removed the listing from their website." |

Bank Lyon are a very classy outfit - they are a Rolex authorised dealer! I bought my SubC from them 8 weeks ago!!
If they accidently posted this I have no doubt it's valid |

I'm in the market for a Planet Ocean 8500 Ceramic. After looking at this........
I'm still in the market for a Planet Ocean 8500 Ceramic! Not to my taste but I suppose some folks will buy it. It's their choice, after all, it's a free world (or so I'm lead to believe) |

Looks just like the 40th anniversary with 007 across the dial, just changed the colour and put the 007 at an angle. They really need to work harder, also not sure if this is the new bond as I heard the Titanium and liquidmetal in blue with blue strap was to be the new bond watch and a limited ediotion of that was to be made. Maybe they are making two Limited editions as this is just the first one.

Definitely have to be a Bond fan to pick this one up. It's a bit all over the place with the Bond stuff.

Omega is relatively new to the Bond watch scene and THEY put out a 50th anniversary watch? Ugh, not to mention, it is HIDEOUS. Bond would never wear that junk.

I would need confirmation that the Omega 007 watch as shown is kosher. It is a shocker. I do, however, like Omegas and one unfortunate model design would not change my opinion. Here are some I like.

My friend said that there is a huge Bond following in Asia, specifically HK, with plenty of money to buy several of these because it's Bond. Let's see how it does!

Wouldn't surprise me if this is real going what they've released previous. It's hideous.
But there is a market for this, mate at work has a previous LE bond SMP. I don't tell him what I think of it. If you want a Bond watch why don't you get the model that he actually wore in the film. He didn't even wear a black faced SMP. |

The 007 dial is ridiculous IMO.

Oh I say, this is most certainly not my cup of tea. Unless one of those buttons turns it into a brand new DB9, with the lovely Catarina Murino sitting in the front seat...

would have preferred the dial to be just plain black.
the red 50 on the bezel as well as the case back looks fine to me. but at 11007 pieces, it really isnt that limited now is it...... |

If you think that was a gimmicky looking excuse for a watch get ready for the 36 mm version of the same watch. Facepalms cannot explain what I feel when I saw this picture. I really like Omega, but they make it hard for me. And yes, the number 7 marker is a diamond.

I'm waiting for the Batman version.
Until then, my 1980's Speedmaster Professional will be my only Omega. |
