Love the Hamilton - I have one from my grandfather, but it needs to be repaired - I really need to get that done!

Rene Rondau is the guy for the job but the movement parts are VERY hard to find now. I know where there are a few movements to scavange from though.

One guy I know modify's them by changing out the movement and changing it for an automatic Hamilton. The nice thing is that he does it without damaging anything at all. This way you can keep the original movement and put it back in someday if you want to. Not cheap but a good way to go, the original 500 movements are honestly crap... but I live the watch.

I am guessing I might have $10,000 this batch and less that $100,000 in the entore collection... but the money is not the point,,, it is a silly obsession with all things that have gears... same with my motorcycles
wow!! one other question ,what motorcycles do you own ?off topic I know but watches and bikes are the two things that do it for me

That's like when I had 9 motorcycles in my garage. My wife wanted me to seek help. I loved them all and well done on that collection!

I saw 11 Omega's, that if I was an addict
I would not have been able to live without them....wow

I am not easily impressed by Omega...But...I am with your lot...

There is my one and only steel chronograph from 1947,
Model Ref: 2451-1 Mov: 27 CHRO C-12 when I was collecting
watches made in the year I was born.

Hmmm don't have just one but here are a couple that are on the top.

First is a repeater with a multi function (animated) dial in hand enamel. This watch is from the about 1810 to 1850 and would have cost more than a fine house does today.

Then I would guess it is a pair of original Corum Golden Bridges. These are as rare as hens teeth and it took me 7 years to put this pair together. These are hand made and hand engraved. The Sapphire Christal's are cut and were made by a man who is no longer with us.

But there are many, I have a Omega that has an inscription for 54 years of work. The man it was given to started in 1908 and worked through 2 world wars and the depression

Nice watch!

I was able to secure a 1940's flat pusher that was on the wrist of Mussolini's personal intelligence officer who was also his body guard. He had the watch on the day Mussolini was being drug through the streets while the owner was driving his mistress to safety.

The Ventura is original, with the box and papers and band. I do not wear the band because it is delicate.

Oh and watch poor.. told you it is a sickness

When I get the chanve I will pull out a roll of the tank style square watches and take a pick. They are not very expensive and in some cases you can get a nice 14K watch for under $300
