Seriously considering the 5712R as my next piece. My RG ROO RC will have to be traded in plus cash. Jorges pics have been killing me lately. Only hesitation is how thin the watch is at 8.3mm thi. The smallest watch I own is an EX11 which is 42mm & considerably thicker than the 5712. I have also considered the 5980R but obviously a lot more expensive and I already have 2 other chronos in my line up. Decisions, decisions!!!!

The 5712 is very thin, before getting it my smallest/thinnest was my daytona 116515, so it took a little getting used to but now I love it, very comfortable but if you like to feel the weight of a watch it's not the one as you almost don't feel that you are wearing something, but if you have an explorer 42mm ...

yeah I have crappy tastes in watches, but we can't all have aristocratic tastes and choose the 5726, which I also had but on strap was way too much for me, I am a humble man as you know
