I’m game...but I can’t start a decent thread to save my soul!
Maybe that’s why I never took to online dating...

I got the watch fever :) and hanging around TRF makes it only worse

I'm not really good at starting threads, but since it's a coffeshop talk, how about we talk coffee?

What's your favorite brand? Do you buy beans? Regular or espresso?

We've recently tried coffee from the black rifle, and the BB and SS are very tasty and smooth, low acidity.
Blue mountain from marshal's or tjmax is pretty smooth and oh so cheap.

With espresso, I prefer lavazza beans (black bag), but my machine really likes the starbucks beans too.
open to suggestions though :)

With my crazy life, everything in boxes crying to get out... I'm lucky to have Maxwell House!

A friend gave me a Keurig machine which I’ve used daily since last May. Starbucks Pike Place k-cups or Caribou med. roast are great. I like to mix in a little cinnamon & light cream for that coffee shop experience. Love lattes & mochas too.

* Cecilia love the pic!! Kinda like a “George Burns” in stilettos. You’re the old timer here, membership wise, so we’ll look forward to your WISdom.
* SG56 is that YOU riding that bike? At my height & with my skills I’d be safer on a Lil’ Tykes “Big Wheel”. Lol
* D M are you getting settled in a new place?

Ok...that might keep us going for a little bit. Cheers!

I’m impressed
Am afraid I’d go splat! The handlebars on my ‘bicycle’ had to be adjusted after a cervical fusion & pinched nerve in my arm. How ‘bout I live vicariously through you!! How long you been riding?

Yup, it’s gotta be GOOD coffee for my tastebuds since I limit myself to 1nice cup a day.

Not by a long shot.
Sure have learned about what makes the world go round, though.

We retired, but I'll try the track in a car now! I'll let you know how it goes.

Track riding, full 10 years. And I mean gone 3 out of 4 weekends in summer.

We retired almost exactly a year ago after my husband got hurt pretty badly.

I plan on doing ladies only day beginning of July, but we're officially retired.

Oh, I can imagine a nightmare. And I'm sure plenty of others are trying to do the same, so getting contractors is not easy either.
How far along are you in the process?

Yep, try the Melitta. If you don't like it, I'll buy it off from you

Abigsecret changed her name to Vanessa. The watchmaker who recently retired.

It's been an eye opening experience in more ways than onel Throw in
scammer scum ready to pick your pockets.

Painting, exterior and interior - 75% complete. Flooring - 90% complete. Electrician 75%. Garage, driveway, landscaping next.

Will try Melitta ... if it needs tweeking, I can mix it with another brand - and never look back!

OMG...again, soooo sorry to hear you’re going through all this. How much of your sanity is nearing completion?
Where have you been residing during the restoration process?

What is sanity, pray tell?

House was livable (camping style) until restoration began, then whole house packed up in pod and garage, gave away 3/4 furniture, retreated to bonus room, and one week escape from suffocating paint fumes to Best Western. Not over yet.

My wife died Friday night

The past 36 hours have been the worst of my life.....its like a nightmare that you cant awake from.....I try to sleep but wake in 20 mins.....and the sight of her dead is etched in my mind forever....Before the losing by 2 cats in 2000 was the worst day of my life....my parent who i was never close to did not affect me in anyway.
Sense all my family is dead and have no living relatives....i guess is why im here ......i dont know what to do. Being alone and disabled what do you do.
just wait? overdose on heroin/morphine....I was reading its legal now in a few states since I have MS and all maybe the best option....I almost died 2 years ago from a heart attack.....and my doc told me last April i had 3-5 years left maybe with the rare autoimmune stuff....sorry for strange post.

I don't know the whole story and this saddens me to read.
I'm no expert, but maybe reach out to MS community in your area.

I've almost lost my husband on today's date a year ago, and he's happy to be around. There are many things you can still do or point your direction to explore another topic.

I wish i had more time to do all things i want to do and read about.

Pick an area and become an expert in it!!!!!
