Thanks for the kind words. I'm working with all new tools so there is a learning curve. On top of that I've got a business trip coming up next week so I'm *supposed* to be working today.

After breakfast I decided to play and ended up spending a few hours shooting . . . I'll post more from the session as soon as I get back. Got my near 40 year old Day Date in there and it still looks amazing -- creative lighting and all.

Using 2 cameras, a Leica M8 and a Nikon 5700.

Your pix shows why a meteorite dial is so special.
Each time I look at it I see something I didn't see before.

Beautiful watch, Tim. The WG Meteorite on a black strap is my next dream Rolex.

Steve,

Thanks for the reference, I had a feeling the photo was too warm. But was not sure if it was scattering light off the brass hardware or just overal tone of the photo. I will see if I can "cool" the photo a bit.

Ok.... I thought that it was a YG watch.
I tried to correct the colour some in Photoshop, but it was pretty yellow so I ended up with some artifacts.
Always try to match your white balance with the light source or you will end up with images that are either too warm (in your case) or too cold.
The pic is really nice though!
