"Need" Another Omega...which one?
Well I did much reading and lurking on this site and took the advice of most when looking for one Speedmaster and bought the 3570.50.
Now I want one Seamaster and I'm asking for advice again. If you could have only one, which one would stand the test of time and be the classic example. Which would you buy? Thanks Larry in PA |

Test of time and classic example, that's easy, the 2254.50 SMP. Great watch...

Yep, gotta agre with that.. The SMP is the icon of the Omega line today. It's like having a Sub in your Rolex line-up..

I agree with Doc about the black PLanet Ocean. I have the orange one and I love it. For a classic look though the black is wonderful.
Might also consider the non-chrono black planet ocean on rubber strap that Daniel Craig wore in the last Bond movie. |

If you hold off a bit you might find the inhouse movement making it into the PO and SmP lines. That will be really neat.
