Although I alway thought I wanted a Submariner, but when I *really* thought about it I realised the GMT was the way to go :-)

Live in the North East of UK and have a second home in Dubai.

Been a member here for some time and I have never ventured into this section.

I have SS Sub non-date, SS and WG DJ, GMT II Blue Black, Tudor Blackshield and a SS Daytona white face. My wife has a DJ and SDC, my son has a Sub Ceramic and his grandfather's DJ. Finally, my daughter has a GMT Pepsi.

Purchase in Amsterdam, Dubai and Newcastle.

We do like our Rolex.

I got my GMT 2 tt 14 years ago, then added a blue faced pre-Tiger Tudor Prince Chrono about 11 years ago and more recently finally got a SS Daytona white face a couple of months ago, wanted a Daytona forever !! haha

I promised myself a Rolex for my 40th, bought a very nice 16610LV and thought I'd be happy with that.

3 years later I also own a GMT II Batman and just today I put a deposit on a white faced Daytona, it's an illness and I don't want to know the cure
