Swiss Watch Expo is the real deal. They have a brick and mortar store in Atlanta, where I live. They always have lots of nice watches for sale, and I have been there many times.

Hmmm I have found through a few inquiries for watches with them that they do not always have said advertised watch on stock. An example was a SD4k on C 24 I was looking at last year. Doesn’t mean they are not a decent retailer though. But that’s my experience with them.

I bought my GMT and Roadster from them. I’m local so was able to purchase at their store. Amazing how many watches they have in stock.

I have purchased 2-3 Rolexes from the owners there. I also am local so I always get to see the watch in person. Never had a problem over past 10 years with deals.

They do a tremendous volume now online but they do not bait and switch. Each listing contains pictures of the actual watch for sale. I have been there during photo sessions and they do a good job getting detailed pictures.

However I am sure it is possible a post sale snafu might have left a live listing on either Chrono24 or eBay without a “SOLD” label on it. If anyone wants to be sure the watch they want is in stock, I recommend going directly to their site swisswatchexpo.com

Have you been there since they expanded to include the other storefront Nextdoor?

Very large inventory now...

Another vote of confidence from me. Haven’t bought from them but would have no hesitation for future purchases.

Purchased an Omega Speedmaster from them recently. The watch they sent me was having issues with stop watch second hand. I sent it back and luckily they had another of the same model. No questions asked and they were very good about the return. I would not hesitate in buying from them.

They were in middle of remodel when I picked up my Cartier. Haven’t been there since completed. Can you just show up and browse ? On phone they always request an appointment before I show up.

At face value on their website they appear to be the BEST, by a very large margin, pre owned seller in the the US and perhaps the world. Yet....only a few people above can vouch for them on the #1 Rolex forum in the world.

I found the following statement on their website which, due to the sheer volume they list for sale at this very moment, seems possibly incredible. As in not credible. On the "Company Info" section of their website in the "Team" section the CEO says:

"Eugene
CEO

“What makes us unique is that we maintained our physical showroom even as our Ecommerce business took off. Being one of the few global online retailers of luxury watches with all of our inventory in stock at the showroom, is instrumental to our brand and future strategy of the business."

Calls to the company will confirm the same as above.

What doesn't make any sense whatsoever is if they are such a huge pre-owned Rolex dealer why do they not post any of their over 700 watches [in stock today!] for sale on this forum? Why instead do they choose to sell through 3rd party platforms that require them to pay a commission?

ELI5. Thank you TRF

I had a recent inquiry about a watch that they are selling and the response was less than confidence-inspiring. I would stay clear or at a minimum, ask a lot of questions about the watch before purchasing.

Have you ever purchased from them in person or on-line?

Not quite correct.

You need 10 posts before you can link a pix.

But you can upload a correctly sized pix from a computer any time.
