Interesting Find

Gents,

Found this very neat watch local today. Who can tell me what exactly this is... I’m certain aftermarket band. I don’t see many with the black hands.

it's an early Rolex Milgauss ref 1019 in what looks to be excellent condition...

It is, but I don’t believe it came with a jubilee.

If I recall, lume that has turned black is from moisture exposure. $25K is all the money for that piece. For the same price you can get one at Bobs with a newer bracelet and creamy tan lume.

Would need a macro shot to determine if it is black paint or moisture exposed lume

These are found with big or small "Rolex" print. The OP's is the rarer small version. That's a real nice nerd detail.

I believe Jubilee was an option with these, and 25 grand isn't an unusual price for a genuine example.

For contrast, here's the big "Rolex" version. (Photo credit: me :-)

25 large, wow. If this is a model you've been searching for I say go for it, it is a mighty clean example... and that smaller subtle font is nice, really accentuates the MILGAUSS. Not to say that zapokee's big font example isn't nice... Both top pieces.
