Please feel free to contact us at info@craftandtailored.com or by calling (213) 293-0555 This specific 1957 Two-Tone Datejust Ref. 6605 has survived in remarkable condition, from the strong case, clean dial, full lume plots, dauphine hands, and original roulette date wheel, this piece would be a great addition to an expanding collection. We love the early Rolex Datejust for its simplicity and its classic sophistication. SPECS Stock # RLXDJ6605-57 Brand Rolex Style Datejust Model 6605 Serial 26XXXX Size Men's Material SS/14K YG Dial White Millimeters 36 Bracelet Rolex Two-Tone Jubilee CASE & BRACELET The strong case shows signs of being previously lightly polished, retaining full and even lugs, showing little wear from use. The yellow gold fluted "coin-edge" bezel is believed to remain unpolished. The original two-tone Rolex Jubilee bracelet remains in remarkable condition showing little wear and exhibiting normal stretch for its age. DIAL & HANDS The original dial has taken on a wonderful cream patina that gives the watch a charming and unique appearance. The radium lume plots show signs of aging and darkening but remain bright in color and exhibit no lume degradation under U.V. light inspection. The original yellow gold "dauphine" style hands match the dial perfectly exhibiting no degradation under U.V. light inspection. The original and rare "roulette" date wheel is era correct to the watch and creates and excellent vintage feel the watch. ACCESSORIES The watch was fully serviced and running at COSC spec backed by a 1-year warranty on movement.
