You can see the slightly wider diameter of the case back in the watch on the left.

Like everything in Horology, you have to see them in the metal and try them on before you decide and commit. Just saying...

A front comparison. The most noticeable difference apart from the bigger case is the lustre of the white gold case compared to steel.

Front side, the new WG version looks better proportioned than the SS. The date window is better integrated with the markers.

What size do you think is better ? I am worried that the blue looks too flat in the wrist because of the bigger size.

The 324 SC movement in both the 40 mm and 42 mm is 27mm in diameter.

So they're slowly trickling in and becoming available at ADs without being spoken for?

Those secondary market prices are dreaming IMO.
