Incoming Presage!

This watch wasn’t even on my radar. Read about it last Basel. Thought cool, thin watch, bout time Seiko. Went to Miami last weekend and stopped by the botique. I tried on Everything. U.S. limited spring drives, 9F gmts, violet tuna, golden snowflake, weird new spring drive gmt with the burgundy dial. Pretty much nothing screamed buy me til I saw this and asked too see it. Loved it, slept on it, went back and they sold it while I was gone. They checked the warehouse and all sold out everywhere......can’t get another. Thankfully my AD started carrying higher end seiko last year and one text later and I had one secured. Seiko is doing a lot right at the moment. Here’s my new watch which pics do zero justice: the SJE073. Also pictured is a sad 6159 reissue that nobody wants sitting in a case for 6+ months.

Yesss!!! Love this watch. I was kind of going back and forth on this watch too. I tried it on several times and then last time I tried it on on Tuesday I said “f___ it, let’s just get it”. It’s a really nice watch, just a small step down from Grand seiko really. The decoration of the Movement is really the only thing that could be better.

Mine says what’s up

You gonna get the SLA025 next?! That’s what I gather from your last pic. Ha

Edit: lol I apparently didn't read your very last sentence obviously. I just picked up the 025 and love the crap out of it.

No, no sla025 for me. I have the sla017 which is enough for now. Just putting it there in case anyone is looking for one.

Agree. The decoration on the movement is lacking. But for less than 2k I’m happy. The dial plus Zaratsu is just redic!

I’m looking to purchase a new seiko myself. I can’t decide between something from the prospex or presage series. So many great choices in moth groups.
