Good luck with your financial speculation.

I’m sure there is someone out there who would love to wear this one right away.

Beautiful watch, congrats!

But why wait for the Basel World? Just so that you can get heart broken seeing the new LV with the beautiful 3235 in them?

If by some small infinitesimal chance they decide to discontinue the green sub, ever if for a short period, i would probably resell. The tags were removed for the pictures, but the plastics are still in place. I agree with most of the post, i doubt if I will last the 30 days between now and Baselworld. I’m almost certain they willl update the movement to the 3235 and who knows, possibly offer an oyster flex option? Anyway, thanks for all the comments, and no I did not pay MSRP, quite a premium in fact. But you only live once and I’m 63 years old and might not live long enough to get to the top of the AD list. Thanks again/

Nothing wrong with paying a premium! More the reason you should peel off the stickers and enjoy it today! You said it yourself, tomorrow is not guaranteed to any of us! Enjoy it in good health!

Put it on. What about a possible new movement really entices? You’ll never get one anyway without paying a premium that could be as much as 2x.

This is true - buying green sub but not buying green bananas?

Sorry for that old joke...

OK, here is what I wanted to say...*

Get up - get up right now. Get up out of that chair, or sofa, or BarcaLounger.

Get up and go to that Green Rolex box - take out that green-dialed, green-bezeled cycloptic Submariner wrist monster.

Take it out - open up that clasp and strap that monster on and give us a proper wrist shot...

...or it didn’t happen...

* with apologies to Howard Beale (Peter Finch)

Congratulations, get the stickers pealed off it and wear it with joy.

Last time i bought a new watch (SD in 2004). I wore SD home from the AD's, they put my Sub i was wearing in the SD box and it has stayed there ever since.

Like a kid with new shoes i was ha.

I'm not quite as chronologically gifted as you, bit I'm not too many years behind. Your reasoning about LV wait list and life expectancy are an exact match with mine. Somewhat tongue in cheek but with a real component built in.

If you think it looks good in its box, try taking the plastic off and wearing it. You could still sell it easily, but I bet you won't.

I think people need to settle down a bit. It's just a watch right? So that goes both ways. We know they're not investments (we've been over that a million times), but we're talking about waiting a couple weeks to peel off some stickers. Who cares!?
