Can someone with a set of calipers measure the thickness of an ETA Pelagos?

It's a hard number to pin down online.

I got my Pelagos LHD yesterday.
Very pleased with it. It's a lot of watch for the money!

I have a NOS 2 liner on the way and I'm pumped.

So, how long does it take to get over the case thickness - a few days of wearing?

Not long, as the width of the band fits the case perfectly, and it's so light the thickness is not noticeable. I now have 2, on is black and the one in blue, and they are my daily wearers. I actually feel the sea dweller is too heavy after wearing these! It takes me a few hours to get used to the heaviness of the SD43.

Hello there guys! Just wanted to ask how much in the Pelagos blue version in the US, the price here in Croatia/Europe is 4400EURO tax included.
Thank you for your help!

I have had my LHD since late October and noticed that somehow I have scratched the hell out of the side of the case. I really am trying to get over it but for being such a new piece I kind of want to brush them out. One one hand I'd like to clean it up a little but am afraid of making it worse.

Otherwise, I absolutely love the watch more now than when I first got it. Was a little unsure about it when I bought it but the wife liked it and said I should get it. Wore it out of the AD and haven't worn my other watches but for a few days since!

I'm guessing you're right handed and wear your LHD on your left wrist where the side without the crown is left exposed to bumps and scrapes? I do the exact mirror opposite by wearing my 2 liner Pelagos on my right wrist as I'm left handed. Wearing a right handed watch as a destro usually leaves the non crown side exposed to scrapes.

The good news is that you can easily buff out most of the marks with a course ink eraser.

This may sound controversial to some, had my LHD for a week and love it but the more I look at it, the more I think something is missing around the date window.
Yes, it’s a cyclops. There, I’ve said it, what are people’s thoughts?

Hi all,
I am getting a second hand Tudor Pelagos Black Dial LHD bought in Dec 2019, for 2730 USD... in your opinion, is it a good deal or not?

Depends on condition and if it comes with all the goodies. If like new and it's a complete set, that's a good deal, IMHO.

I gotta say, I pretty much hate titanium, but on the Pelagos it just works. It's like if Rolex did titanium - it's cool just for the novelty. I also like that they didn't wimp out and offer a stainless steel version too. If you want a Pelagos, there's one version and it's titanium.

Almost seems like too good of a deal!

Great watch, refreshing to wear especially if you’re accustomed to steel divers. Super capable, too. Good luck.

Picked up my Blue Pelagos a month ago. Absolutely love wearing it. Going on holiday next week which was as good a reason as any to try out the rubber strap. Very impressed with this watch which is my first from the Tudor/Rolex brand. Hopefully the first of many.

I walked into an AD's over the weekend fully prepared to buy the blue Pelagos...but the blue is so flat that it started leeching the light out of the room. I love color on watch dials but that blue is unsettling in a way that makes me uncomfortable.

Great bezel, great clasp though. Maybe I'll get over it eventually. Or maybe Tudor will bail me out with another color. I

Could not disagree more. The blue is stunning and never fails to excite at every glance. The matte finish also adds to the overall aesthetic allowing the bold color to remain tool-like vs the more garish Rolex approach.

There's always original black and LHD available.

Clearly I am bias here but I have to agree - I actually was more interested in either a black/LHD Pelagos or Black Bay Heritage when I went to the AD, but the blue just kept pulling me back in. It's anything but dull and really looks great in the sun.
