Disapponintment d be a regular 5711 in SS with a number 40 engraved into the clasp for an 80k pricetag,a regular production model in PM isn t disappointing just ppl expected more for the anniversary. In this context tried to reflect to your reply .

Yes this seems to be the consensus - looks like numbers will be very limited for both models.

Ok, have no clue what you're saying, but that's ok.

Horse beat.

Bring on the disappointing 40th pieces

Yeah, a moderately moist, elongated octopus.

I know everyone's excited for 40th, but I would think the 50th we'all see a much more significant release. Can anyone wait another ten years?

I spoke directly to the Patek Sales Rep for the Eastern part of the US while I was at HSWA for a MR Event and asked him about this topic and referenced that it is supposedly going to happen in the UK and he said there were no plans for this practice of holding certs to start in the US Market.

Anticipointment is the new word to describe most of us here, ie anticipating disappointment.

And grandpas it is now officially - damn squid, no hipsters know what a squib is.

Years!?
For God sake, this place can’t wait 10 minutes before starting a Nautilus thread or posting a photo of one!

Yep that's the only thing which would get me hot, other than that can be nice but nothing special, would appreciate a tuned 5711 though with frame on the date, and if possible a deeper blue...

Avout number one at AD thread, not sure if I'll be first but I am supposed to have my 5711 first half of 2017, so if I decid to change I would imagine not to be after 20 guys...

Being the first on the list really doesn't matter
Having a super relationship with your AD is more important

I am not a big spender, not even close
And I'm not sure I'll be nr 1 or 10 on the list

But at the end .... If I really want it, I'm 99% sure I can get it

You have multiple 5070s. Hiw can you say you are not a bug spender? I love the 5070 btw. Let me use this opportunity to say you have a great collection and I admire it. Cheers :)

+1. Agree with the relationships matter. I have yet to buy a Patek from my AD but I occasionally stop in to see what he's got a chat. He appreciates the knowledge and affinity I have for the brand. He also know that he's going to get my business eventually. Stopped by today on the way home from the office actually. Happened to have a 5712 in stock as well. Solidified my love for the model. Will pull the trigger with my next job move as a pat on the back.
