What I will say is that it's super comfortable, more so than my SD43. The domed crystal makes the watch appear larger than it is, but in a good way. Besides Panerai are supposed to be large IMO. I have a 7" wrist and I think it wears well (not too big). 20191129_122830.jpg20190807_074718.jpg Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk |

I’ve been very critical of Panerai over the past few years. I’ve really stuck to classic references like the 024, 005, 372, 514, 1305, and 1312, but the 690 is stunning. It’s the best “newer” Panerai that’s been put out in some time. The 690, 911; two watches I’d love to get my hands on.

I know what you mean, the brand definitely is finding it’s wings again. I’ve been looking at the 372 and 424 lately |

The 372 is my largest watch. I have the older plexi crystal model. I ended up selling my 1305 because it was just too big. The 372 wears smaller than the 47mm Submersibles for sure. It’s just a great, go to, weekend watch. It would compliment your 690 well.
