<<< back from service >>>

Well folks the drama (for me) is finally over and I finally have my beloved 690 back in my hands

It was quite the kafuffle getting the watch to ship to my business address (a few gray hairs from several frustrating interactions with the Panerai SA and FedEx) but in the end it finally arrived just now.

A full and complete service was required due to my stupidity (dropped the watch and it was losing 10-15 minutes a day). I'd love to get clarification regarding what a complete service means, but I assume its similar to Rolex?

Anyway I'll be watching it closely to see that all is running smoothly again.

Feels good to have it back, I really did missed wearing this one. There's nothing quite like the feel and look a 47mm, super domed, blue dial Pam IMHO.

Glad to hear everything is back in order. I've never had anything but positive interactions with any Panerai corporate entity from servicing a magnetized PAM024 to ordering straps that are no longer listed as available.

Thanks Evan

I’ve always had very good service as well. I’m caulking this one up to Covid

Yes it did. I debated doing this but decided to have it polished. Now I will know all the scratches going forward are mine

That one is a looker with the blue dial. Another poison for me to hunt for a blue dial Pam perfect for my wrist in the near future.
