Hi I have seen the attached watch and would like some opinion / feedback on its authenticity. It looks nice but I'm new to the vintage market .

Movement is genuine Rolex.
Dial looks "reworked" to me.
Can you give me the number on inside back case (I can not make it out) and we can check exact model.

Its probably a 6426, but ive never seen a dial like that before on one. Also, should be 19mm between the lugs, not a 20mm strap squeezed in there.

Me neither, hence I suspect reworked, plus its just to pristine

I'd say that's putting it nicely. The coronet looks like it's sitting closer to 12:01 than 12:00, lol.

I have had a bit of a look around and I can't find a dial similar there doesn't seem to be many that have both batons and Roman numerals combined

That is because it "is" a reworked dial as I originally suspected.

I personally do not purchase pieces that are not 100% original - but that is just me

A dial similar to that was used on the air king in the early to mid 2000's but thats the only place ive ever seen anything anywhere close to it. Look closely at the reworked dial in your first picture. The coronet is off, the hourly markers dont line up to the roman numerals. Heck, the lume dots dont even line up to the hourly markers. Its a really bad reworked dial. If the price is right on the watch, you can swap that horrible dial for an original one.

Id pass. Dial is jacked up ie "very very rare". Buy something quality.
