Message for Seth (s7horton)

Hey Seth,

I got your PM and tried to reply it, but instead got a message saying that you had blocked all your incoming PMs....so I just couldn't get through.

Don't know what's the story on this thing 'cause it's never happened to me before. If you like, you can ask what you have to ask on this forum...no worries....and post some nice pics of your new beauty. I'm sure everyone would love to congratulate you, Seth.

Cheers - JJ

So, you actually can block PM's? Can you also block PM's from certain individuals? (Hint......).

If you know the right people they can point you to the "Block PMs from JJ" button. It's well hidden and known only to a few select individuals.

And this is exactly what TRF's all about!!

It all started with a genuine message to another member who actually PM'd me today. I tried to reply back, but kept getting a message that he's blocked all his incoming PMs.

Then....let's see what happens next? A bunch of crazy tossers, starting with that 6 and a half foot Cannuck, belch out replies that just about hijack this thread from the very start.

And what else happens? The original member for whom this post was intended must have read all the replies and decided to call it a day.

Well done, you buggers.....very well done!!

ONLY ON TRF!!!

Wow, I just noticed this thread. Sorry about the delay. I had issues with my username because I recently swapped email addresses. Not only did I not get replies to PM's, but I also do not recieve emails to threads that I have subscribed to. Kind of strange. Rev helped with the username issue, but I'm still not recieving emails to the threads I'm subscribed to..

Anyway, my question to JJ was whether or not the date on the YM appears a little smaller than the date on a sub. Through magnification, of course. I noticed this and got a little nervous knowing that the date is supposed to be 2 1/2 times the original size. I think it is the maxi dial that is throwing me off. However, because JJ had both the watches in question, I was hoping he could answer for me.

Sorry, JJ, for the blocked PM. Didn't mean to by at all. My apologies.

Don't ask specific questions about JJ's TTYM... the chinese build them differently than the Swiss.

No worries, Seth....here is a picture of both watches side by side....now you be the judge. The YM's maxi dial will make the date "appear" slightly smaller than the Sub's. Magnification, however, for both remains the same at 2½ times.

...and another picture of the YM date...sorry, it can't be seen in the above picture.
