Vintage 1952 Rolex Oyster Royal

Hi there,

I'm new to the forums and I just got my first Rolex. It was given to me by my grand father who left in his will that when I turn 18 I receive his Rolex. It has been quite used and is a little dirty with lots of minor scratches all over the bracelet and watch glass. the dial itself and the hands a in perfect condition. I was wondering if any body could give me a rough estimate how much it would cost to get the glass polished/replaced and the bracelet polished and cleaned up. It is a very beautiful watch and I would like to restore it to its former glory. I will only be using it on special ocassions so it will be looked after very well. I will try to post up pics soon

would probably need a service as well. As its an older watch Rolex UK may not service but you can always contact them to ask
Rolex Bexley 01322 521436
Rolex UK St James Sq London 020 70247300

There is a respected UK watchmaker, I think he is on this forum too, probably worth contacting to discuss
