I Certainly mean no disrespect to any of the many long term members, mods, etc., but JJ will always be "the face of TRF" IMO.
RIP and my condolences to his family.

I will always regret that I did not discover TRF when JJ was most active here. The first TRF post I read was his review of the Exp II. I will miss him.

Condolences to his family.

RIP

I always got amusement out of seeing his post count grow and grow and grow, as well as the constant flipping. I haven't been very active on here for about the last year and a half, and remember leaving with him in the 50k range, and coming back to 70k. His contributions to this forum are immeasurable.

Condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones.

Will never be the same around here.

When I first joined TFR all I read were JJ posts and JJ jokes... In fact so much so that I thought this forum was started by JJ... TRF will alway be JJ's Rolex Forum to me...
I had a chance to email him about 2 weeks ago... he fought bravely till the end...

All our memories of JJ are happy ones...

Here's to a super guy... who I am sure will be reading TRF from up there...

May you find peace, love and light my friend...

God Bless and God Speed...

JJ

I had the pleasure of interacting with you here, though I never met you in person. I remember how you made us all laugh and worry, how different models became Platty, Bluessy and so on. How you became flipper #1 and how you managed to create something we all wanted to be part of (don't ask me why, I still can not understand it): the tosser list.

While members of this great place post from different corners of the world, you always had a nice word, a jocke, or a concern that would touch our hearts.

Right after Basel, we all were waiting for your comments, and you managed to create the longest replied threads ever: your Explorer II review, when we knew about your fight and today, when you made the trip to somewhere we will meet at sometime. What else could we expect from you, the member with the most posts ever.

Thank you JJ, for sharing your life with us. Even here, I feel like I have known your wife, daughters and grandkids forever.

Gracias JJ, from the bottom of my heart.

Mods: this is a GREAT idea! One more thing why this forum is the best.

It's a testament to the type of guy JJ was that he has touched so many people he never even met. I can only imagine the void he will leave in his family. I wish strength for them and peace for JJ.

I just found out about the great JJ today after work. Never met you, sir, but felt like I have known you a long time. Got into Rolex because of you, learned so much because of you, became much more humble and appreciated life and family much more because of you. TRF has just lost a great member, a great Rolex man.At least I know that you now are in God's hands. Rest in peace and remember to smile upon all of us here on the forum.
