Anyone else have problems with the Sub fraying your shirt cuff?

This goes for all sports model as well. I find that the bezel occasionally catches the cuff of my dress shirts and over time it begins to fray.

Not enough to notice. I always wear the collar out before the cuff becomes a problem.

Indeed it's a problem. I leave in Asia so get all my shirts tailor-made (for cheaper price than retail shirts). I always ask the left sleeve to have a wider diameter than the right one, due to potential big watch. Tailors understand.
I've notice getting tailor-made shirts starts to get more popular in Europe at a slight premium. Maybe that's the solution.

Problem solved - I acquired an Explorer and a Datejust. Both are beauties, and no stress on my cuffs.

Manuel Racim in TriBeCa offers the same feature, it's great.

Absolutely!! It rips Boss shirt cuffs to pieces!! For me it is the crown and not so much the bezel!! French cuffs fair better for wear I noticed.

I always fold up my sleeves, so I never get that problem.

No problem here I get my tailor to make my left shirt and jacket sleeve slightly bigger than the right. However sometimes it will catch the monogram and unravell it.

Frank

I tend to get insulted on this forum when I say - Any Rolex with a rotating serrated bezel should not she worn with a cuffed shirt. The bezel catches on the cuff and it looks plain stupid wearing a suit with the sleeve scrunched up.

However everyone has the freedom to look stupid and quite a few seem determined to exercise that right.

If you wear a cuffed shirt and want to wear a Rolex, buy a DateJust or an Explorer or any other watch with a smooth bezel.

Regards

Mick

Well depending on how you wear your watch try wearing in the correct place IMHO just above the wrist bone.

No issue here as I have my shirts made with a slightly larger cuff.

I too started wearing custom shirts - from Proper Cloth - and I have my left cuffs larger for my watch. They recommend it for those who wear watches.

Using very high quality materials, my average custom is $140, much cheaper than the designer shirts I used to buy. And the fit is incredible.

It happens with my Pelagos. Just destroys my dress shirts. Agree that custom tailoring is the solution (try Massimo Duti in Europe): ask for one inch larger cuff in the arm you wear your watch. Or time to start exploring your next dress watch acquisition!
