Yes, you can move all your music over to Google music, your apps, probably not, would it be a big drain on your money resources? Most apps are quite cheap and how many paid apps do you have? Most Android apps are free anyway. Films, you have made? I don't know tbh, I don't think it would be too difficult though, as far as I'm aware, most files can be transferred from a windows PC to an Android phone.

Whatever music you have on your PC, you can download to your Android phone and better yet to your SD card.

All the music that I have on my computer is also on the 128GB card that resides in my phone.

That's nearly 60GBs worth.

I like the new S8, but we don't do contracts anymore. So we starting buying our phones directly from Blue Products out of Florida. No more $600 phones for us.

@Dave

So you have me intrigued.

So answer a few things if you know.
  1. When texting from Samsung to iphone user you cannot use imessage right? No more emojis or using bitmoji?
  2. Do they have something like apples wallet. I travel a ton and love putting my SWA boarding pass in my wallet for ease of use?
  3. So I use Outlook for work. On my work iphone I use outlook for work email and my contacts. My personal phone I only sink to my work outlook to get my contacts but no email from work on my personal phone. Can you still do this? Then my personal email is only on my personal phone via gmail, assume this is no issue?
  4. I few features I love on the iphone; thumb print to open, I think sam has this.
  5. Lastly, have you used carplay and is the sam version better/worse?

You can't use iMessage direct from a Samsung phone but I would imagine you would not be able to use emojis from an iPhone to any other phone but another iPhone. The sms service from Google uses them but I don't bother, but they are available.

Android Passwallet is similar although I don't use it but it is in the Playstore.

I don't really understand your question about the e mail but am sure that anything you can do on an iPhone can be done on a Samsung regarding e mail, I get my Apple @me e mail directed straight to my G mail account as well as my btinternet account, it is just "add account." Outlook app is available from Play store.

Samsung has thumb print and other unlock options available.

I haven't used CarPlay so can't give an answer, a quick Google search brings up this though.

Hope that helps.

Edit; I must admit that the above questions are all things that I personally don't use so will concede that my answers may be a little vague, I love Apple products also but find that I prefer Google (Nexus/Pixel) best, I was a iPhone fan up too and including the iPhone 5. Your questions are interesting though.

The s8 has face retina fingerprint etc for security. For Samsung pay no face unlock
