Scotch / Whiskey in Japan
Hi Guys,
I'm looking for for some hard to find Johnnie Walker "Blues" bottles that are direct to the Asian market. Can anyone here direct me to a retailer in Osaka Japan, or anywhere in Japan that specializes in Whiskey or Scotch. Thanks |

Going to be frank.
Japan locally makes the best whiskies in the world. Buy a bottle of Nikka from the Barrel, Suntory Hakushu 12 years old or Suntory Yamazaki 18 Years if you're feeling wealthier. Forget about the Johnnie Walker Blue which while good is thoroughly overpriced. |

Yamazaki 25 is the best whisky money can buy imo.

Mike, to answer your question, I have not seen any, but I'll keep an eye out. If I see one I let you know.
There is a liquor warehouse near my house that always has cool stuff. Trouble is when I go in there I end up spending way more that I intended. |

The Nikka is quite excellent, especially at it's price point. But I must say I liked the Hibiki 17 the most out of those three. Also the Hibiki Harmony (no age statement) is a fantastic whisky, and not nearly as high in demand & price as the regular 17. |

Yea, I went to a whiskey tasting event here in Japan about two months ago and the Japanese whiskies knocked the ball out of the park.
That being said I'm old school white trash and will drink JW Red and Maker's Mark and love it all night. |

Another fan of Hibiki 17. Always get a bottle or two when I'm in Japan. I'd love to try the 21 or 30.

I have to say I'm even older school. I only buy and drink single malt Scotch whiskies.

Unfortunately another spirit, though good, is wayyyyyyyy over priced!!
