Sheesh, the number of times I've had to answer that question so far!
Anyway, the standard answer is "I haven't thought that far ahead yet". Right now we have at least two things to consider. First, my sis pops out kid number 3 in December, so she's going to need time to catch her breath before she and the family travel over. One of my closest buddies from Singapore also done gone and got himself busted bringing in one lousy joint from a holiday in Thailand, and Da Man's not going to give him back his passport till next June. All in all, it looks like the wedding's going to be in the second half of next year, and I'm thinking of setting it at the height of the football (Aussie rules) season. Few, if any, of our friends are footy fans, so we may as well take advantage of the fact that we can book places while the other engaged couples are chugging their beers watching the matches.

Congratulations, James!
That looks like a great place. A little more romantic than our sitting at the kitchen table, saying, "Hmm... I don't know... Do you wanna get married?" ;-) |
