Incoming - Vintage Datejust 1603 blue dial

Early '70s Datejust 1603 pie pan dial with batons, refinished in "Submariner Blue."

I was looking for an inexpensive vintage DJ for everyday wear which was unique, and this one really spoke to me. The dial luminosity doesn't really translate well into images (with my skill level and equipment, anyway), but it glows. Great wrist presence for 36mm, even on my overly chunky 8.25 inch / 21 cm wrist. I originally intended to put on an aftermarket SS jubilee-style bracelet, but this look on a leather deployant strap I had on hand is starting to grow on me.
