Omega Speedmaster Racing dial

Could someone please enlighten me on what this dial is made from? It looks to be a mixture of materials and the subdials appear to be added to the main dial possibly inserted into circular cutouts bit I'm just guessing. Any ideas or advice on where to look for this information is much appreciated.

Most Omega dials are made from brass and then painted, if I'm not mistaken. This one probably is, too.

I think it's made of smiles and happiness. That's my impression when I look down at my wrist while wearing it!
