Sla025

Now I understand the price tag. Managed to try on the SLA025 recreation yesterday and can appreciate the step up in price from most other seiko divers.
Such a cool looker.

It also won the Sports Watch category in the 2018 GPHG awards, on Friday evening.

Absolutely beautiful design, actually think it looks better than a sub.

I really like the watch but have not been able to spend so much for this watch or any other Seiko. I am learning about the brand and currently have 3 sport Seiko's. For me there are so many options at a lesser price point that do not sacrifice looks or performance it is hard for me to justify the cost. As I learn about the brand it will always be an option but right now I am good with staying where I am.

I love the 025 in general. It's a stunner for sure. I don't understand why they made the bezel so tall relative to the OG model. I like seeing the dome pop out of the watch. And the 19mm lug width is just annoying to find good straps for.

I would tend to agree.
I love the look of the SLA025 but I believe it would be difficult for me to wear under or with a business shirt. So I'll have to appreciate it vicariously keep those great photos coming!!
